Chief Executive Officer · Los Diesel (Pty) Ltd

Leslie Lesego Letsogile is the Founder and Managing Partner of Stones — a BSE-licensed Corporate Financial Advisor practice registered with the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants as an Accountant (Non-Audit).

He is dual-qualified — Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA · CGMA) with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and Associate Certified Professional Accountant (ACPA) with BICA — and is one of a select group of Motswana to have placed first in the country on CIMA's Financial Strategy examination.

He brings twelve years of senior finance leadership across fast-moving consumer goods, petroleum, corporate finance and drilling services — inside both operating companies and advisory mandates.

Selected mandates via Stones
  • Governance frameworks and private debt placements for family-owned enterprises.
  • Structuring of public debt issuances for BSE-bound issuers.
  • Pioneering ESG-linked green-loan structures in the Botswana market.
Recognition & thought leadership
  • Top Student in Botswana — CIMA Financial Strategy examination · May 2014
  • Practitioner columnist — Botswana Guardian on SME capital-raising · 2024
  • Alumnus — BSE Tshipidi Mentorship Programme (2022) and the 4th Annual ETFGI Global ETFs Insights Summit, London (2023)

Unlike most professional advisors, Leslie continues to run operating businesses. He brings live operator experience to every mandate — and personally reads every deliverable that leaves this practice.
